In 2016, I responded to a tweet where a fairly prominent Youtuber was looking for an illustrator for what he called an “adult children’s book” based on his recent breakup.

Eager for new projects, I responded and sent him some test drawings. I got the job and over the course of about two and a half years, I produced the following work. This is my infamous “hiatus” project.

I did not write this. However, I am very proud of the artwork.

At the time, we had some publishers interested due to the popularity of his YouTube channel, but they slowly backed out one by one, and eventually so did the writer himself. It’s been about five years since then, so I figured I would go ahead and publish it here.
