The Vernal Wilds

Today is the Vernal Equinox. I always try to update on the equinoxes and solstices.

I'm not sure why really. Maybe it's because of an appreciation of the natural cycles. It's both something of importance to me as well as a major theme of FLOLAS.

Another important theme is music.

The above piece was submitted as an entry in a design competition that Explosions in the Sky was holding. It's for their new album called "The Wilderness." I have no idea if I've won. The idea I came up with was directly inspired by this video.

I like the idea of using light to hear dark.

More FLOLAS soon. I've been distracted by life things lately. I'm getting back into it though.
